Credence LLC JSTARS Electrical Engineer, Senior in Warner Robins, Georgia

Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is seeking an Electrical Engineer at the Senior-level to support the E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar Systems (JSTARS) program. The contractor will provide senior branch-level engineering analysis of electrical, mechanical and aerospace disciplines to perform as liaison and management of high-level day-to-day technical system engineering operations, for programmatic and aircraft systems responsibilities and data in support of the E-8C JSTARS, for the C2ISR Division, Enterprise, Engineering, Branch programs/projects located at Robins AFB,GA. This position will support the government customer in an Advisory and Assistance (A&AS) role to the Integrated Product Team (IPT), based on an understanding of an ever-changing and dynamic status of Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance.

This full time position affords the successful candidate an opportunity to work in an engaging, high-tech support environment to manage aerospace avionic systems and applications as well as advise and recommend the IPT’s on specific engineering support requirements. Candidates will have the opportunity to interact with customers to determine requirements and evaluate system engineering issues, problems, modification and recommendations. Contractor personnel shall provide A&AS to the Government on the following tasks:

  • Apply systems engineering foundations for aircraft avionics, electrical systems, aging fleet, airframe and propulsion systems. C2ISR aircraft radar, mission systems, tactical data link (IBS, AFTRS, CDL etc.) and aircraft simulator systems experience.

  • Support the IPT by providing information on the design characteristics, limitations, and potential applications of systems having the ability to transform information, and identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to process and technical issues affecting weapon system availability, readiness, sustainment, and total lifecycle cost.

  • Design and administer advanced database development work including but not limited to data extraction/reconciliation, application of descriptive statistics, and root cause analysis. Perform other duties including author and edit material for senior management level personnel; brief and speak to senior management. Plan, organize, conduct meetings, off-sites, program reviews while developing themes, goals, and expected outcomes.

  • Apply knowledge of computation models, performance measures, systems architecture types, and levels of representation to recommend IPT path forward decisions. Supports all IPTs, training, PDM, modifications, software, logistics, technical data, engineering, etc., within branch to integrate the users’ operational and programmatic requirements into assigned JSTARS sustainment and acquisition programs.

  • Analyze technical documents for compliance with objectives and thresholds; articulate findings, and recommend remedies or alternatives.

  • Review, analyze, and critique applicable technical documents for senior audiences such as, but not limited to, Program Executive Officers, Chief Information Officer, Chief Architect, and Chief Systems Engineers.

  • Assist with equipment utilization from design and operations, capabilities and limitations, operating instruction to disposition. Provide advanced technical, program, and process leadership and management analysis, design and execution planning while working in concert with Senior Leadership.

  • Prepare review technical documents for all assigned Configuration Control Boards (CCB), and potentially Engineering Control Boards (ECB).

  • Support development of an update the Program Protection Plans (PPP) and the Counter Intelligence Support Plans (CISP), Integrate, Threat Assessments, Operations Security Plans Review the System Threat and Analysis Reports, provide written summaries and incorporate threat changes and countermeasures into the PPP.

Job Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in performing related tasks.

  • Support the Division, Branch and IPT by providing information on the aircraft system engineering design characteristics, limitations, and potential applications of systems.

  • Apply knowledge of models of systems engineering performance measures, systems architecture types, and levels of representation to recommend way forward for IPT decisions.

  • Analyze technical documents and infrastructure for compliance with objectives and thresholds; articulate findings, and recommend remedies or alternatives.

  • Review, analyze, and critique applicable technical documents for senior audiences such as, but not limited to, Program Executive Officers, Chief Information Officer, Chief Architect, and Chief Systems Engineers.

  • Prepare/review technical documents for all assigned Configuration Control Boards (CCB).

  • Desired exposure or proficiency in JSTARS, AGILE, ITIL, LEAN/AFSO21, DevOPs Networking, and SCRUM preferred.

  • Shall possess Level III APDP certification, and be proficient and possess advanced level in-depth knowledge and experience in DoD acquisition policies and procedures, to include DoD Directive 5000.01, DoD Instructions 5000.02, DoD 7000 series directives as well as FAR/DFAR/AFAR and underlying public law.

  • Candidates must be able to brief to top government leadership, have excellent written and verbal communication skill sets.

Education Requirement

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other related Engineering field is required.

Security Clearance Requirement

  • A minimum of a Secret security clearance is required to begin work. Must be able to upgrade and maintain a TS.
