IT/Cybersecurity Operations Engineer

Key Role:

Lead the monitoring, controlling, and operation of computer equipment and peripherals. Lead the establishment of plans and schedules for data processing activities, strive for optimum use of computing capacity, and ensure maintenance and back-up processes. Apply extensive principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments. Exhibit technical and operational proficiency in solving the most complex problems. Lead projects and programs in area of expertise. Interface with internal and external clients. Supervise the activities of others.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with IT operations, including monitoring and problem resolution for all tools, servers, storages, and network devices

-5+ years of experience with IA for operational testing, incident response, and computer network defense

-Knowledge of current information security trends, threats, and techniques

-Ability to design complex system architectures and develop detailed designs

-Ability to analyze and implement standard operating procedures and protocols

-Ability to develop technical solutions and new tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks

-TS/SCI clearance

-BS degree

-DoD 8570 IAM Level III Certification, including CISSP

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with managing IT efforts, including the supervision of substantial operations encompassing user systems, integration, and training in diverse operating environments

-Experience with DoD policies, procedures, and protocols

-Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
