The employee shall support the planning and execution processes for gathering and evaluating information to determine whether weapons systems, subsystems, and support equipment should meet the extent of the specification for the life cycle of the equipment. The employee shall perform and monitor testing and Identification, Validation and Verification (IV&V) of critical weapons systems, subsystems and support equipment for eventual fielding and deployment. The employee shall support the program office in verification of Technical Orders and Time Compliance Technical Orders, as well as other engineering requirement documents. The employee shall produce documentation as requested to support the fielding of weapons systems, subsystems, and support equipment.
The employee shall be able to travel to support the testing and fielding of weapons systems, subsystems and support equipment.
ABET-Accredited Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
Minimum of 8 years work related (functional) experience
This position may require extensive travel
US Citizenship required. Candidate must be able to pass a Special Agent Check (SAC) prior to hire date. In addition, candidate must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Experience in converting system specifications into test parameters
