We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Avionics Integration Engineer to support our operations at Robins AFB in Georgia.

Employee shall apply an understanding of DOD, AF, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems. Employee will design, develop, fabricate, test and evaluate and produce weapons systems, subsystems and equipment for eventual fielding and deployment.
The employee shall support the program office Airworthiness Certification Working Group (ACWG) by supporting, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive Modification Airworthiness Criteria Certification (MACC) compliance package and conducting an airworthiness risk assessment. The employee shall support the planning and execution of the Airworthiness Review Board Meeting in support of obtaining military flight releases/Military Type Certificates. The employee shall produce draft documentation as requested or necessitated by programmatic limits based on cost, schedule, and performance to support the airworthiness process.
Typically initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs; provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff; provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.
ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (Major and accreditation may be substituted at client's discretion)
Minimum of 15 years functional area experience
US Citizenship required. Candidate must be able to pass a Special Agent Check (SAC) prior to hire date. In addition, candidate must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Experience working in the aircraft/aerospace industry, using engineering requirements
Candidates should have some experience in the following areas: Reading and interpreting drawings, reading and interpreting specifications, troubleshooting, source approval
