- Responsible for preparation of all food in sufficient quantities to cover all hospital service requirements. Responsible for maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control. Food handling skills and commercial cooking experience in accordance with sanitary standards is required. Must be H.A.C.C.P. certified. Care and cleanliness of equipment along with excellent customer service skills is required. Must be able to meet standing, lifting and bending requirements of this position. High School diploma or G.E.D. required. Batch cooking in commercial kitchen experience preferred. Equipment Used: Dish machine, food carts, steam tables, blenders, garbage disposal, can openers, dish dollies.
