Peak Campus Assistant Manager of Operations in Macon, Georgia

The Assistant Manager of Operations is primarily responsible for rent collections and administration of community operating system. Serve as acting manager in the absence of the Property Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an excellent customer service program by adhering to the Peak Simply Service Standards

  • Collect and accurately post rent and other

  • Monitor and follow up on bad debt to include preparation of late notices, resident and guarantor contact, and filing of

  • Assist in interviewing candidates for available property positions and participate in the selection process of new hires, as

  • Assist Property Manager in conducting new hire orientation, training and other duties associated with

  • Assist in preparation and processing of all leases and related paperwork for approval by Property

  • Assist with maintaining key control of occupied and vacant

  • Participate in property inspections, quarterly, move-in and move

  • Assist with supervising maintenance staff in scheduling and, when necessary, directly scheduling property repairs with outside contractors as

  • Negotiate lease renewals with current residents when

  • Assist residents with move-in/move-out process

  • Direct and assist workers in the scheduling and performance of turn

  • Process security deposits in a timely manner, if applicable

  • Inventory and purchase office

  • Write up and file services requests from residents upon receipt and take necessary steps to ensure timely response by appropriate

  • Monitor maintenance service responses to ensure a high degree of resident

  • Address complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional

  • Assist with leasing responsibilities to maximize

  • Assist Property Manager in preparation of weekly and monthly reporting

  • Participate in the annual budget preparation

  • Responsible for helping property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating

Education/Experience and Technical Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years multi-family property management experience is

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • A four-year college degree or extensive experience in multi-family property management preferred

  • Ability to read and write English fluently

  • Ability to perform intermediate mathematical functions

  • Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions

  • Position requires ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year

  • Due to property staffing limitations, position requires that individual be able to work scheduled hours on a consistent basis and, if necessary, overtime hours when requested
