The Regional Operations Manager (ROM) has responsibility for directing the operational and client service activities for multiple districts. The ROM is responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to from a compliance and audit standpoint within their region. Manages the District Operations Managers (DOMs) in their assigned region.
This position requires the associate to drive on behalf of the Bank and the associate must adhere to Bank's Motor Vehicle Guidelines (may require increased minimum limits and therefore an increase in premiums.)

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Interviews, hires, and manages DOMs for assigned region, based on staffing model, with administrative support from HR as needed, including annual performance evaluations, coaching eTime, training courses, incentives and all other associate relation issues. Also assists DOMs with interviewing and hiring of Service Leaders and Traveling Associates in assigned region as needed.
Serves as back-up to DOM as needed to conduct audits of all cash devices, unless serviced by outside vendor, along with supply of Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, Travelers Cheques and Instant Issue Debit Cards as prescribed by policy and procedure.
Verifies timely completion of Operational Record Review by DOMs and periodically reviews records for each office in the region for adherence to policy and procedures.
Oversight of all performance exceptions initiated in the region, including DER/CIP/PNI/Fee Waivers, Opt-In ratios, Wires, ATM exceptions, Cash Management (CETO), etc.
Periodic visits to offices within region to identify operational strengths/weaknesses, efficiency opportunities, training needs, procedural questions. Develop teamwork, share knowledge, instill trust, and set clear and concise expectations for consistency across the Bank.
Manages Office Score Cards for each office in the region to maximize results.
Assists with research and resolution of client issues/complaints, initiating client contact if appropriate and escalation as needed.
Participates in community organizations and events to generate goodwill and business development opportunities.
All associates must understand and adhere to the non-negotiable Banker Standards and commit to practicing SGNNT at all times. Associates will consistently follow policies and procedures as established by Capital City Bank and Capital City Services Center, with managers setting the standard.
Serves as member of Disaster Recovery Team, New Office Opening Team, Existing Office Closing Team, Acquisition/Conversion Team, and Robbery Response Team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Required:
The following KSAs are usually acquired through college education with specialized training course(s) in business, banking and/or a minimum of 5-7 years related experience.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Demonstrable leadership skills.
Banking experience preferred.
Proficiency in Word and Excel software.
Knowledge of Jack Henry/Silverlake preferred.
Must have reliable transportation.

Associates or Bachelor's degree in business or finance from an accredited college required. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
Working environment which requires traveling and maintaining needed tools and resources in automobile.
Constant travel within assigned geographical region.
