Job Title Production Line Supervisor

Job Description

The Production Line supervisor is directly responsible for operating his assigned shift in a manner that meets or exceeds all production, budgets, safety and quality requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

Directs and supervises the activity of Twisitng and Weaving employees on his assigned shift.

Monitor shift expendatures ( Labor, supplies, Parts) to ensure budgets is maintained as required.

Monitor machine and personnel ( efficiency, safety, unit hours, and pounds) to meet daily production goals.

Implement production schedule changes in accordance with department requirements.

Perform Safety audits and review with department manager as required.

Monitor performance of hourly personnel to to ensure compliance of company policy.

Check production counts and enter into computer for payroll analysis and time recording.

Fill out necessary shift reports including SAP time management reports, yarn counts, inventory, and efficency charts.

Maintain ISO records.

Must have the ability to oversee the Tire Cord Twisitng and Weaving Operations and must have at least 5 to 7 years of plant experience.
